We use a 3-stage insulation resulting in a U value of 0.15 (0.12 can also be achieved). The roof will retain your heating in the winter and prevent excessive heat buildup in the summer, You’ll also benefit from reduced energy bills for the life span of the roof. The roof is specifically designed to be fully ventilated to combat any risk of condensation.
Low Maintenance
Britmet lightweight tiles are easy to maintain and provide insulation that regulates temperatures to create a comfortable energy efficient environment. They are tough and durable and are covered by a 40 year guarantee against weather penetration, we offer a choice of shingle or composite slate, both have variations of colours. UPVC fascia’s and PVC guttering complete the almost maintenance-free package. Building control compliance can be easily achieved as the system is designed to meet current technical requirements and elements of Building Regulations 2010. Sustainability
Timber is a renewable and sustainable resource having been used in construction for centuries. One of timber’s key benefits when looking for a conservatory roof replacement is that it is naturally insulating as opposed to other tiled roofs made with aluminium
Timber has a very low thermal conductivity of 0.16 w/m2k. All our structural timber is FSC certified and they promote environmentally appropriate socially beneficial and economically viable management of the worlds forests.
Installation
With over 65 years of combined joinery and site experience. Our warm roofs have been designed to be as fitter-friendly as possible. We believe that the system is possibly the easiest and quickest timber kit roof there is on the market to install. Whilst installations vary from job to job, an average roof upgrade can be completed within 2-3 days. In most cases, it can be watertight and secure within a couple of hours.
